happenings

well, its all happening at the moment. i think. summary:

• did 8 days of straight snowboarding. sooooo good. felt i was improving by going every day. the snow is pretty much slush now (apart from one day when we actually got powder - amazing this late). but its still good, generally sunny and warm - i go in just t-shirt and shell jacket now, no thermals. also spend most of my time in the park, mainly doing the small and medium jumps which is tons of fun.
• currently in seattle. been here a few days. highlight going to the baseball! mariners lost 1-0 and wasn't an exciting game as such, but it was still cool to go. also been to discovery park, pike place market, and the arboretum (=tree museum!).
• swinging up to vancouver to meet the parents in 2 days (hi mum and dad!). we are spending a couple of nights in vancouver and a couple over in victoria on vancouver island. really looking forward to that. then its back to whistler - mum and dad will be stopping by for a night on their train journey around the rockies etc. will prob stay on at whistler for a little longer to catch a last bit of snowboarding. not too sure what i'll do afte that...
