brrrrr!

• -11c at the top of the mountain today, and forecast to get that cold down in the village in a couple of days. apparently whistler usually gets 2 weeks of proper cold weather a season, and this looks like it. we've had beautiful sunny days for over a week now, but no new snow unfortunately.
• apparently whistler also rocks in summer, and is about as popular. its meant to be one of the top spots in the world for mountain biking... and of course other things like hiking, rafting, stuff on the lakes etc...
